Ian Wright was in awe after witnessing Joao Felix in full-flight during his Chelsea debut against Fulham.
Speaking on his own podcast, Wright applauded the Portugal international for such an engaging first appearance in the colours of the South West London club.
Felix certainly captured the headlines on Thursday evening, for the good and the bad.
He shot a bolt of electricity through the mains of a Chelsea team who have required hotwiring for a few months now.

The 23-year-old spurred his new side forward at every opportunity, and was at the heart of everything positive and meaningful for Graham Potter’s pack.
Joao Felix had a memorable Chelsea debut
Bernd Leno was certainly kept on his toes by the player on loan from Atletico Madrid.
His four attempts on target are already equal to that of Christian Pulisic, Conor Gallagher, and better than Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Few fans will forget Felix’s first-half performance at Craven Cottage.
It will certainly live long in Wright’s memory.
“Honestly, he was exhilarating. What I took from all of that, Chelsea fans should be really pleased with that,” purred the former Arsenal striker.

“Todd, send the money now. I saw him blast past Antonee Robinson. The skill, the pace, the application and to the point where he is flying into tackles. He could’ve easily scored a hattrick.
“He showed us so much in such a short space of time in his first game, if I’m a Chelsea fan I am very, very excited about what I saw.”
Sadly, the Chelsea faithful will have to wait until the 11th of February before potentially seeing Felix sparkle again.
His maiden outing as a Blue following the £9.69m love move from Atletico ended after 58-minutes.
A reckless challenge from the attacker on Kenny Tete forced David Coote to brandish the red card.
Following such promise, Felix’s debut will now go down as one of the most unfortunate in Chelsea’s recent history.
