Roy Keane has claimed during ITV’s coverage of the World Cup that Chelsea’s Edouard Mendy was one of the weak links for Senegal at tournament.
The 30-year-old bowed out of the tournament last night alongside club teammate Kalidou Koulibaly.
The pair were beaten 3-0 in the round of 16 against England, who again chose to start without any Chelsea players for a variety of reasons.

Jude Bellingham was a particular star of the show, as reports of interest in his services from Stamford Bridge continue to float around.
The tournament has been up and down for Mendy, who will be disappointed with his personal performance against Netherlands in the first game of the tournament.
He undoubtedly recovered well, after rumours he was set to be dropped.
A sensational save against Qatar helped his country avoid what could have been an embarrassing result against the hosts.
Keane critical of Mendy
However, Keane has claimed he is unimpressed by the Chelsea man, saying he was actually one of the weak links when his country were in the competition.
He said: “You mention their goalkeeper, Senegal, I think he’s a weak link for them.”
After being knocked out of the World Cup, attention for Mendy will quickly return to the remainder of the season with Chelsea.
However, recent reports have speculated that his future at Stamford Bridge may not be particularly bright.

It has been claimed that Graham Potter is considering strengthening the goalkeeping position at the club, potentially leaving Mendy in the cold.
He has already struggled for minutes when Kepa Arrizabalaga has been fit, with the Spaniard enjoying somewhat of a revival under the new manager.
In terms of replacements, the Blues have been linked with a move for Robert Sanchez from Brighton, with Potter obviously having a strong relationship already.
