Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher was really impressed with one of his teammates after the Blues’ 2-0 win against Sheffield United yesterday.
Goals from Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson ensured Chelsea earned all three points.
And Conor Gallagher, speaking to Chelsea’s official club website, has hailed Palmer for the impact he made during the game.
The 21-year-old also managed to record an assist in the victory over Chris Wilder’s side, meaning that he has now registered nine goal contributions in 14 Premier League outings for the Blues.
Following Chelsea’s win against Sheffield United, Ian Maatsen took to Instagram to describe Palmer as “the coldest man”.

It is fair to say that Gallagher was impressed with Palmer’s latest display.
Speaking about his Chelsea and England teammate, he said: “Cole is a great player and his talent is there for all to see. He’s amazing on the ball and he’s done brilliant for us all season.
“He was involved with both goals, scoring a fantastic one himself and those goals and assists are what we need from him. We’re really happy with his input and he’s a great team-mate.”

Gallagher is not wrong; Palmer has been quite the revelation for Chelsea since joining them from Manchester City over the summer in a £40m deal (Sky Sports).
As highlighted earlier, the England international is scoring goals and creating them for Mauricio Pochettino‘s side.
Chelsea’s transfer business since Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital took over the club has been heavily criticised, but Palmer has definitely been one of their few success stories so far.
The Blues need to start recruiting more players like him, players who can come in and make an immediate impact.
That is easier said than done, especially if you are signing footballers from other divisions. But Palmer’s addition obviously shows that it is possible.
