Chris Sutton has claimed that he believes Chelsea fans could actually run Mauricio Pochettino out of his job if results fail to improve.
He told Mail Online’s ‘It’s all Kicking Off’ podcast that he is of the opinion that the manager needs time to succeed at Chelsea.
It has been just one win in the opening six league games for Pochettino, who has not had the immediate impact many were hoping for.

The owners have already shown their ruthlessness last season by sacking Graham Potter, after he underachieved despite the money spent.
Sutton has claimed that if Roman Abramovich was still in charge of the club, the Argentine would already be skating on thin ice.
Pochettino could be run out by fans
He said: “Did we expect more from Pochettino and his team? Yeah, I think we did. Did he have a lot to contend with? Absolutely.
“There comes a time when he starts needing to get results, but with saying that, it’s not Abramovich who’s the owner where there’s the possibility, if he was the owner, of Pochettino being sacked.

“This is six games and Graham Potter had seven months. I was with you on Graham Potter and I’m pretty consistent with my view on managers and getting long enough time to develop a team, and getting a couple of transfer windows in. It doesn’t change for Pochettino.
“Pochettino does need time, but he needs results. His biggest issue, I suspect, will be the Chelsea supporters. If there’s 100 supporters banging on the door outside the ground then it’s not an issue. If there’s 5,000 wanting him out, then it is.”
While there is no obvious fan discontent at Stamford Bridge right now, it won’t take long for the expectant supporters to make their feelings known.
