Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Brighton & Hove Albion striker Evan Ferguson.
Evan Ferguson is a long-term transfer target for Chelsea and he could cost more than £100m, according to the Evening Standard.
It is a lot of money, but James Milner has told TNT Sports that his Brighton team-mate’s finishing is “phenomenal”.
Ferguson has scored six goals in 19 Premier League appearances this season, which includes a hat-trick against Newcastle United.
Brighton CEO Paul Barber has admitted that the 19-year-old is likely to be sold in the future.
James Milner amazed by Evan Ferguson’s finishing
Milner thinks Ferguson’s finishing is phenomenal.
On the Republic of Ireland international, he said: “His finishing is phenomenal you know, just so good. If a chance is falling, you want it to go to him.
“He had a chance at West Ham, we were joking about it. He didn’t score but he made it out of nothing — he hit it instinctively.”

Evan Ferguson can still improve
There is a long way to go before Ferguson becomes the complete striker.
While Milner says Ferguson’s finishing is phenomenal, the Brighton forward has not scored since November and has failed to net at all in the Europa League. It shows that there is still plenty of work for him to do.
Still, a hat-trick against Newcastle at his age is a very impressive feat. It is promising and a sign that Ferguson probably has the potential to become a deadly Premier League striker.
He is not worth £100m, but the same could have been said about Moises Caicedo before his move from Brighton to Chelsea.
The Ecuadorian had only played one full season in the English top flight, but that did not stop the Blues from paying £115m (Sky Sports) for his signature in the last transfer window.
