Chelsea owner Todd Boehly was seen on the pitch celebrating with the players and staff after the Blues were crowned Club World Cup champions at the weekend.
Enzo Maresca led his side to a dominant 3-0 victory over Champions League holders PSG, sending the rest of the footballing world a message that their adventurous project is beginning to come together.
A lot of noise has surrounded the actions of Boehly and Behdad Eghbali, with plenty made of the extortionate amount of money they have spent on new signings.
This was one of the areas where it was reported that the two in charge had disagreed during their well-documented spat in the early stages of the 2024/25 season.

Club World Cup win unlikely to turn around Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali’s feud
Boehly thinks Eghbali is too obsessed with player trading, and the two reportedly came to an agreement that something had to change on the board for the club to advance in the right direction.
Many will have believed adding the Club World Cup trophy to a top four finish and Conference League triumph could have eased any tensions between the pair at the top.
However, this doesn’t seem to have been the case, and according to The Telegraph, Boehly and Eghbali are not expected to put their differences aside.
The report goes on to say there is a sense that something has to give at the top, however it remains to be seen who comes out on top there.

Chelsea fans being won over by Boehly
When news of the feud between the two owners broke out, Chelsea fans took the side of Boehly after he has made his admiration of the club public.
The American has frequently been spotted at Stamford Bridge, and was on the pitch celebrating after all three of their big moments from the 2024/25 season.
Boehly may have won even more supporters over following the Club World Cup win, where he told Chelsea fans to ‘keep the blue flag flying high’ in what is seen as a very good moment for the club.
Supporters will certainly want Boehly to remain involved in the project, with his more affectionate touch with the players appreciated in a regime that can be pretty brutal when it comes to selling players.
