Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has made a significant career decision in signing with Jorge Mendes, alongside some of the world’s best.
The Telegraph have stated that Maresca is now being represented by the same agency that can boast Jose Mourinho, Unai Emery and Nuno Espirito Santo as clients.
The Italian has enjoyed an impressive start to life at Stamford Bridge, winning two trophies in his first campaign and leading the Blues back to the Champions League.
Despite supporters showing discontent at times under Maresca, the club’s briefs have stated that they maintain full confidence in the current boss, who is managing his first club in the Premier League.

Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea contract lasts until at least 2029 despite new agent
Despite the news that he has signed with new agents, it doesn’t seem as if there will be any concerns at the club over the immediate future of their boss.
As per the same Telegraph report, Maresca remains under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2029, with them having the opportunity to extend that by another year.
Chelsea have made long contracts a part of their recruitment process for players and staff, with that helping them out when it comes to outside interest in their assets.
Enzo Fernandez is wanted by Real Madrid, however is currently under contract with the Blues until 2031.

Why Chelsea chiefs love Maresca
It has not been a perfect first season and a bit in charge of the Blues for Maresca, however there have been plenty of positives that the club chiefs have noted about their head coach.
There is a strong connection between the players and manager, and he has managed through a number of unique and difficult scenarios.
One of those has been the team’s poor discipline. The Blues have been plagued by three Premier League red cards to players, with Maresca getting one himself.
However, Chelsea chiefs loved Maresca’s passion and reaction to what was clearly their biggest win of the season, and there were no issues following his suspension as the Blues beat Nottingham Forest 3-0 as he watched on from the stands.
