The fallout from Chelsea’s penalty embarrassment in their 6-0 win against Everton on Monday continues.
Four nil up on the night, Chelsea were awarded a spot-kick just after the hour mark.
Cole Palmer has been the Blues’ regular penalty taker this season, but with the game won, Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke both thought there was an opportunity there for them to step up and take it.
Palmer, however, was not ready to relinquish his duty, resulting in a scramble involving all three players.
In the end, the 21-year-old took it and scored, but Mauricio Pochettino was still not happy with what went down before the goal.

Pochettino has made it clear that he will not tolerate players fighting over a penalty.
Jackson is aiming to score at least 15 goals in the Premier League before the season ends, which explains why he was so desperate to take the spot-kick on Monday.
However, according to The Telegraph, the Senegal international has taken on board what his manager has said and will not try and take a penalty off of Palmer again.
After dispatching the spot-kick that has caused such a racket, Palmer took his own tally of Premier League goals this term to 20.
He is now level with Erling Haaland and will be aiming for the Golden Boot award.

Palmer. There can be no debate; the England international has scored all nine of the penalties he has taken in the top flight this season.
Some of them have been really high-pressure ones as well, with a couple coming in stoppage time against Manchester United and Manchester City.
Chelsea being 4-0 up in a game should not change the above. Palmer has earned the right to take the Blues’ penalties this term. If he wants to step up, no one should be stopping him.
