Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez made another mistake in his side’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Sunday.
Robert Sanchez conceded a penalty after bringing down Rasmus Hojlund, the second he has given away this season.
The 26-year-old was able to stop the first one, which was awarded in Chelsea‘s 1-0 win against Bournemouth back in September, but could not keep out Bruno Fernandes.
Sanchez made an excellent punch in the first half, but that and his overall performance, which was not too bad, will be overlooked after his latest error.

Chelsea have high hopes for Robert Sanchez
These mistakes that Sanchez is making is not causing Chelsea to lose faith in him it seems.
According to The Telegraph, the feeling within the club is that the Spaniard has all of the tools needed to become one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League.
After some of his displays this season, though, some will have their doubts. And if Chelsea start to as well, they do have other options.
Filip Jorgensen is currently in their squad, while Mike Penders will officially join the club in the summer. Like Sanchez, Chelsea also rate Penders highly.
Can Robert Sanchez really become one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League?
If you are judging Sanchez on just his shot-stopping, then the Spain international probably already is.
As per FBref, Sanchez currently has a save percentage of 78.7%, which is one of the highest in the Premier League. Only three goalkeepers are outperforming him in that area.
| Rank | Premier League goalkeepers with the best save percentages this season | Save percentage |
| 1 | Alisson | 88.2% |
| 2 | Matz Sels | 81.8% |
| 3 | Nick Pope | 79.6% |
| 4 | Robert Sanchez | 78.7% |
However, the problem for Sanchez is that shot-stopping is not the only thing you can look at, especially in this day and age of football.
Things like distribution and sweeping also have to be taken into account and unfortunately for the former Brighton & Hove Albion man, his passing is not always great. His short passes sometimes go straight to the opposition.
The above and the mistakes that he keeps making mean Sanchez has a long way to go before he can be considered as one of the best all-round goalkeepers in England.
