Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez gave away a penalty in his side’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Sunday.
It was a silly penalty to give away and would have frustrated some of his Chelsea teammates.
However, it was not the only thing Robert Sanchez did to cause frustration at Old Trafford, though he did have some good moments in the game.
United legend Gary Neville was particularly impressed with one contribution Sanchez made in the first half.

Pedro Neto wanted quick ball from Robert Sanchez
With Jadon Sancho unable to play against his parent club, Pedro Neto got the nod to start on the left at Old Trafford.
And there was one moment in the first half that left the winger feeling really annoyed by the sound of things.
In the 39th minute of the match, Sanchez had the chance to pass the ball to Neto and start a counter-attack.
Instead, the 26-year-old decided to tell his team to calm down before rolling the ball to a defender. The result? According to football.london, Neto waved both his arms in the air in frustration. Neto was man of the match for some Chelsea fans.
Robert Sanchez making too many mistakes
Not starting a quick counter is not the end of the world. Sanchez should not get too much grief for that.
However, he is making too many mistakes in between the sticks for Chelsea, including that penalty he just gave away.
It is a shame because the Spaniard is a really good shot-stopper. In fact, as per FBref, he has one of the highest save percentages in the Premier League.
| Rank | Premier League goalkeepers with the highest save percentages | Save percentage |
| 1 | Alisson | 88.2% |
| 2 | Matz Sels | 81.8% |
| 3 | Nick Pope | 79.6% |
| 4 | Robert Sanchez | 78.7% |
| 5 | David Raya | 76.9% |
Ultimately, if Sanchez can iron these mistakes out of his game, then he will become a good option for Chelsea. But right now, the Spain international is proving to be too much of a liability.
Enzo Maresca wants to stick with Sanchez, but he cannot remain as Chelsea’s No.1 if he is going to continue making all of these costly errors.
