Chelsea travel to Germany on Thursday to play against Bundesliga club Heidenheim in the UEFA Conference League.

The Blues have won all three league phase games so far, including the 8-0 win versus FC Noah, but so have their next opponents.

Heidenheim are struggling in 15th place in the Bundesliga but they are in fine form in the Conference League so Enzo Maresca’s side must not be complacent.

The Italian will undoubtedly play a rotated team on Thursday but the Blues’ squad is so strong that it will still be an impressive lineup.

The Chelsea Chronicle tells you everything you need to know about the upcoming match, such as the kick-off time, live stream and team news.

Heidenheim vs Chelsea Team News

Maresca seems to have one team for the Premier League and another for the Conference League at the moment.

The 11 players who started against Leicester City on Saturday are unlikely to feature against Heidenheim, with the likes of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Christopher Nkunku expected to come in.

Reece James is still dealing with a hamstring injury, while Cole Palmer was excluded from Chelsea’s Conference League squad.

Malo Gusto and Pedro Neto, who missed the Leicester game, will probably be rested ahead of Aston Villa on Sunday.
