Frank Leboeuf has singled out one Chelsea player for huge praise by suggesting he’s setting a brilliant example for his teammates right now.
Chelsea are threatening to end their season on a real high following back-to-back wins over Tottenham and West Ham last week, which keeps them firmly in the hunt to qualify for the European positions.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are up to seventh in the Premier League table with three games remaining. Can the Blues finish strongly with their matches against Nottingham Forest (away), Brighton (away) and Bournemouth (home)?
We’re definitely seeing several individuals at Stamford Bridge find form at the same time. It’s been nice to see the squad doesn’t solely rely on the brilliance of Cole Palmer, too.

Frank Leboeuf loves what he’s seeing from Chelsea star
ESPN pundit Frank Leboeuf claims that Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher is doing so much right on the pitch, which is something the rest of his teammates can take huge inspiration from.
He’s said that he loves the way the 24-year-old Blues midfielder plays with maximum effort.
“Gallagher is not the perfect guy, but he works so hard in the middle of the park. He gives 200 per cent every game that he plays,” Leboeuf told ESPN.
“He scores goals, he defends, he tackles and everything. I love that spirit. It’s the spirit that brings help to the others. It’s also a model for the youngsters.”
We agree that Gallagher’s energy is infectious, which is what’s made him a great stand-in captain this year.
On top of his work-rate, the box-to-box central midfielder also has seven goals and nine assists across all competitions for the Blues this season.
Conor Gallagher exit links won’t go away
Unfortunately, the transfer rumours linking Gallagher with a potential Chelsea departure this summer won’t disappear.
The Telegraph reported this month that Chelsea value Gallagher at around £50 million.
Meanwhile, transfer insider Graeme Bailey has exclusively revealed to The Chelsea Chronicle that Gallagher’s future at Stamford Bridge looks bleak and he has no future at the club.
