Willian is a big fan of Mauricio Pochettino and believes he’s got everything at his disposal to be a success at Chelsea next season.
It’s been widely agreed in the media that Mauricio Pochettino, 51, will become Chelsea’s permanent manager this summer. Of course, Blues supporters are still patiently waiting for something official from the club.
The Guardian claimed earlier this month that Pochettino held extensive talks before finally agreeing to take charge at Stamford Bridge next season.
If this 2022/23 season is anything to go by, Chelsea need some drastic changes to get back to anywhere near acceptable.
The Blues go into Sunday’s final day of the Premier League knowing they’ll be finishing in the bottom half of the table this campaign.

Fulham attacker Willian, who enjoyed a successful seven-year spell as a Chelsea player, has been speaking about the situation at his former club.
The 34-year-old admires Chelsea’s incoming manager and is optimistic about the team’s chances moving into next year.
“[Mauricio Pochettino] is a great manager. He did a great job while he was at Tottenham and he has everything to succeed. I think the team has quality players,” Willian told Stadium Astro.

Micah Richards recently called Pochettino an “outstanding appointment” for Chelsea.
We’ve now had a few weeks to process the Argentine’s imminent arrival, and we’re excited for next season to begin.
There’s clearly a gigantic job for the next Chelsea boss, which should start with trimming the squad and identifying the key players moving forwards.
The previous success and experience of Pochettino should serve him well when moulding this young group.
