Chelsea star Mykhailo Mudryk has received his fair amount of criticism during 14 months in English football so far.
However, the 23-year-old attacker continues to pop up with sporadic pieces of magic to keep you intrigued and excited about his potential moving forward.
Mykhailo Mudryk, who’s got pace to burn, is too much for opposition defences when he’s running full tilt with the ball at his feet.
The £100,000-a-week left-winger (Spotrac) showed what he’s about by coming off the bench and scoring a stunning individual goal on Monday night to help clinch a league win at home to Newcastle United.
Unfortunately, he’s still inconsistent and struggling to force his way into Mauricio Pochettino’s XI every game.

TalkSPORT pundit Carlton Cole has admitted that he may be changing his mind about Mudryk after his dazzling cameo versus Newcastle a couple of days ago.
“Mudryk looks like he’s going to do something now all of a sudden,” Cole told talkSPORT (10:23pm, 11 March).
“He’s rapid. He went past a player and crossed a nice ball in. That’s what we want to see. We don’t see that usually.
“I was losing hope with him to be honest, but after today I’ve gone to do you know what he’s got a little bit, he can do something.”
Mykhailo Mudryk can come good
At the age of 23, Mudryk should be cut some slack as he still tries to unlock his potential in Chelsea colours. We doubt his critics will go anywhere because of the price tag and pressure fixed on him, though.
In our view, there’s still a chance Chelsea can get the best out of Mudryk soon.
Interestingly, speaking via Premier League productions this week (10:19pm, 11 March), Joe Cole said Mudryk’s levels above teammate Cole Palmer in certain aspects. The Blues will be in a great place if more of their players can jump onto Palmer’s exceptionally high levels.
We feel these next few months to finish the season will be really important in Mudryk’s overall development and career in west London.
