Frank Lampard has shared that he has a huge belief in his players after being named caretaker manager for the rest of the season.
He said in his press conference that he is looking to instil a confidence in his side that they can pick up results in the huge games that they have ahead.
Lampard was today announced in temporary charge of the club, as the owners look to ensure they make the right decision on who will be the next manager to lead their project permanently.

While Premier League games may seem like a bit of a damp squib for the remainder of the campaign, the Englishman has the job of motivating his players for the Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid.
The Blues have so far played under two managers in the competition this year. Graham Potter’s finest hour at the club was the second leg victory in the prior round against Borussia Dortmund.
Lampard message to Chelsea squad
Lampard has claimed that his message to the players will be that he has the belief in them to do something special in the big games that are around the corner.

He said: “We want to win as many games as we can, simple answer, it’s more complicated than that. Big games ahead of us, but we have to have a belief. I have a huge belief and I will tell them that today.”
Chelsea have played Madrid in both of their last two Champions League campaigns, with the winner of each tie going on to win the competition.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side will be going into the game full of confidence, especially at home next week. They are bouncing off a 4-0 win over rivals Barcelona last night.
