Chelsea had so many top performers last night in a shock win at Aston Villa, including Noni Madueke.
The Blues were underdogs going into yesterday’s FA Cup fourth round replay at Villa Park, but they ended up on the right end of a 3-1 scoreline.
Conor Gallagher, Nicolas Jackson and Enzo Fernandez all scored for Chelsea. On top of the goals, the most pleasing aspect was the general tempo and eye-catching football from the visitors.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have been under scrutiny for some really poor displays recently, but perhaps Wednesday’s result can relieve a small bit of pressure.

Noni Madueke, who started on the right wing, really impressed in Chelsea’s win over Villa.
The 21-year-old attacker produced his first assist of the season. Also, his direct running with close dribbling was a nightmare for the Villa defence.
Madueke uploaded an Instagram post last night celebrating Chelsea’s cup success, which received plenty of responses in the comment section.
Blues-owned youngster Ian Maatsen, who’s on loan at Dortmund, replied with a one-word message. He wrote: “Mad.”
The likes of Wesley Fofana, Enzo Fernandez and Trevoh Chalobah responded, too.

Noni Madueke performance against Aston Villa
We think Madueke’s been a bit unfortunate to be in and out of the starting XI this season. However, there’s no doubt he’s due an extended run in the line-up to really flex his muscles and grow as part of this team.
Speaking via talkSPORT last night, Jamie O’Hara labelled Madueke as “brilliant” against Villa and admitted it’s the best performance he’s ever seen from him.
The English youngster can bring an extra goal threat and trickery to Chelsea’s forward line when he’s on the pitch. Hopefully, there’s a lot more to come from him during the remaining months of the season.
