Ben Foster couldn’t contain his excitement after seeing Conor Gallagher’s World Cup call-up for England.
Speaking on his own YouTube channel, Foster congratulated the Chelsea midfielder for making Gareth Southgate’s 26-man squad.
Gallagher was one of the surprise inclusions made by the Three Lions manager, but one many were overjoyed by.
The 22-year-old caught Southgate’s eye during the loan-spell he spent at Crystal Palace last season.

He made 39 appearances in total under Patrick Vieira, scoring eight goals and assisting another five.
In November, the Cobham academy graduate earned a first senior international cap away to San Marino.
Southgate has since played him a further three times and may look to repeat the trick in Qatar.
Although game time at the global event is not guaranteed, simply being emersed in the England camp is honourable enough.
“Conor Gallagher, you must be buzzing mate. I’m so buzzing for you,” Foster announced with pure pleasure.
“What a player he is. Last season I played against him a couple of times, ripped it up. This is a big thing for him you know.”

Gallagher will not be alone on his trip across the world.
Raheem Sterling and Mason Mount were the other two Chelsea players picked by Southgate.
Time to do us proud, boys.
