Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah has taken to social media to hint at his frustration at his current situation at Stamford Bridge.

He posted a story on Instagram with a quote saying that he is tired, as reports continue to swirl that his time at the club is coming to an end.

It has emerged that Chalobah simply doesn’t look part of the plans at Stamford Bridge for the time being.

There were plenty of efforts made over the summer transfer window for them to sell the player, as they looked across Europe for a suitor who would cough up the £50m they were hoping for.

Bayern Munich reportedly came close to striking a deal, which would have seen him reunite with former manager Thomas Tuchel.

Chalobah hints at frustration

Despite original interest, a deal could not be reached between the two parties and he did not get his dream move.

Any other potential transfer, such as a move to fellow Premier League side Nottingham Forest was rejected by the player off the basis that he did not want to switch, instead preferring to fight for his place at Stamford Bridge.

It has been claimed though that this space may not actually be his to fight for much longer, with Fabrizio Romano stating that he may well be sold in January.

This has perhaps leant into his recent Instagram story, with him posting a quote of a man signalling how tired he is with everything that is happening.

It is unfortunate how the situation seems to have gone for Chalobah, with him doing very little wrong on the pitch in his time in the Chelsea first team.
