Jamie O’Hara is convinced that Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling will start for England at the World Cup in Qatar.
Sterling, 27, has been one of the go-to individuals for England during Gareth Southgate’s reign in charge as manager.
The winger has been a regular for his country during the last several years, so many are expecting him to play a vital role in an international tournament that starts later this month.
However, the Chelsea attacker’s domestic form has dipped significantly in the past month.
He’s had to fill in as a wing-back a few times for Graham Potter’s side, which Ian Wright claims will annoy the player.

Sterling will start for England
TalkSPORT pundit O’Hara doesn’t believe Sterling’s recent form at club level will impact his chances of starting for the Three Lions.
“He’s (Sterling) starting for England. It doesn’t matter what he does. Gareth Southgate is going to pick him regardless of his form,” O’Hara told talkSPORT.
In fairness, Sterling does often look one of the brightest sparks when England are in action.
He should have plenty of credit in the bank for his performances at the European Championships last summer, too.
His only concern should be how some of his England teammates are performing for Premier League rivals.

There were question marks surrounding Sterling going into the Euros, but he blew concerns out of the water with a string of eye-catching performances.
He’s still trying to find his way in the Chelsea line-up under Potter since he was appointed manager.
However, it’s obvious the Blues star is a favourite under Southgate and has made the left-winger spot his own.
Mason Mount is the Chelsea player you’d suspect has a much tougher task trying to force his way into best England XI later this month.
