Jamie O’Hara convinced ‘terrible’ Chelsea starter is not good enough for Enzo Maresca’s side

Chelsea returned to winning ways at the weekend with a 2-1 win over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

Enzo Maresca will be delighted to have got one over on his former side, who have now sacked his replacement, Steve Cooper.

The boss changed up his tactics and team selection for the away game on Saturday, with it looking like they set up to get the best out of Enzo Fernandez.

This certainly happened, and the World Cup winner was on hand for both a goal and assist in the win.

Jamie O’Hara describes Robert Sanchez as ‘terrible’

One player who started again was Robert Sanchez, who seems to have kept the faith in his manager despite not all shareholders in the club feeling the same.

Chelsea fans have lost confidence in Sanchez, particularly when building up from the back and the ball is at his feet.

Jamie O’Hara remains unconvinced by the Spaniard, actually describing him as ‘terrible’.

He said to TalkSPORT: “Chelsea are looking good you know. They’re a bit shaky at the back still. Sanchez, the goalkeeper, is a massive problem.

“He’s terrible. Teams that win the league don’t have a bad goalkeeper. When you look at title winners, they all have one of the best goalkeepers in the world.”

Chelsea signed a new goalkeeper in the summer in the form of Filip Jorgensen, however he is yet to make an appearance of any kind in the Premier League.

Despite normally playing against easier opposition, it is clear to see that the new signing’s stats have shown him to be far better on the ball than his fellow goalkeeper.

He has made the most of his minutes in the cup competitions, although this has not yet been enough to convince Maresca to start him.

Chelsea reportedly believe that Jorgensen is perfect for Maresca’s style of play, and he will be hoping it is not too long before he is given the chance to fully establish himself as the number one at Stamford Bridge.
