Joao Felix has taken to Instagram to praise the performance of Mason Mount in Chelsea’s 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace yesterday.
The Blues snapped their losing streak in all competitions with a nervy victory against their London rivals, extending their fantastic form against the Eagles over the last few seasons.
Kai Havertz scored the only goal for the Blues on a day that was overshadowed by antics off the pitch.

A touching tribute to Gianluca Vialli brought an emotional feel to Stamford Bridge, meanwhile the club used the half-time interval to introduce new signing Mykhailo Mudryk.
On the pitch, Mount in particular was putting in a strong performance. Better finishing from those around him would have seen him pick up a few assists yesterday.
Set pieces were also an area where he threatened from again, following from his free kick that hit the post which led to Chelsea’s goal against Fulham.
Felix praises Mount

The England international clearly impressed one of his newest teammates, with Felix taking to Instagram to praise Mount’s display.
Yesterday’s game was the first that the new loan signing has to miss through suspension, following his sending off at Craven Cottage last week.
With him looking extremely exciting up until his red card, there is reason to be optimistic again at Stamford Bridge.

The potential of an attack involving Felix and now Mudryk is certainly one to be excited about, especially considering what the options were looking like just a couple of weeks ago.
Mount will be looking to continue in one of the three midfield roles behind the attack, with the 24-year-old certainly looking more comfortable in one of the shuttling roles.
The big games keep coming for the Blues, with a match against Liverpool, a team they are joint on points with at the moment, to come on Saturday.
