Joao Pedro has shared a very interesting conversation that he and Tosin Adarabioyo had about Chelsea teammate Estevao Willian.

Estevao has been in the spotlight since arriving in England, with the winger making an impact in Chelsea‘s first few games.

He got an assist in the Blues’ 5-1 win against West Ham United, while Fulham struggled to contain him on the right flank a week later.

Former Match of the Day host Gary Lineker is very excited about Estevao, but he is not the only one.

Adarabioyo is also a fan of Estevao and told Pedro that the 18-year-old could become the next Vinicius Jr.

When asked by The Standard what makes Estevao so special, Pedro said: “Mate, he’s from the street. You can see he is natural.

“Tosin said to me: ‘Joao, wow. Estevao is amazing’. Playing for Brazil and Chelsea at 18, oh my God. He’s going to be like Vinicius Jr.”

The former Brighton & Hove Albion man has not done too badly himself since arriving at Chelsea.

Pedro has scored two goals in three Premier League outings, while the 23-year-old also netted three times in the Blues’ Club World Cup campaign.

He helped them to beat Paris Saint-Germain in the final, bagging Chelsea’s third goal in a 3-0 win.

Pedro has spoken about his quick start in west London, putting it down to the Club World Cup and his teammates.

Estevao Willian’s start to life as a Chelsea player

Estevao is yet to score in a competitive match for Chelsea and wasted a great opportunity to do so during the 5-1 drubbing of West Ham.

However, the Brazilian can still be more than pleased with how his career at Stamford Bridge has started.

Estevao is proving to be a massive threat for Chelsea, largely through his dribbling. According to WhoScored, he is averaging 2.7 dribbles per game.

Enzo Maresca would probably have liked to have eased him into the side, but the Brazil international has been thrust straight into the action following an injury to Cole Palmer. As of now, though, so far so good.
