Joe Cole suggests that Mauricio Pochettino could be a perfect fit for Chelsea in their search for a new manager.
The Blues are currently going through a five-game losing streak under caretaker boss Frank Lampard, so most supporters are mainly concerned about who will be in charge next season.
Mauricio Pochettino, who’s now a leading contender in the media reports, could soon be back in the Premier League.
According to The Times, Chelsea may formally offer Pochettino the permanent manager’s job by the end of today.
The 51-year-old is going to break a lot of Tottenham fans’ hearts if he does end up at Stamford Bridge after five years in North London with Spurs.
His most recent job was with French giants Paris Saint-Germain, who he left last summer, but it looks like a return to England may be imminent.

BT Sport pundit and former Chelsea player Joe Cole has been discussing the Pochettino speculation.
He’s given a big thumbs up to the rumours:
“I do think he’s a fantastic manager. I really think, if you take the Tottenham situation out of it, he fits Chelsea perfectly at the moment with the squad because he’s a people person,” Cole told BT Sport.

A lot of pundits are now coming out and are upbeat about the potential Pochettino appointment.
For example, Gary Neville has said Chelsea could surprise people and have a strong first season under Pochettino next year.
Chelsea supporters are very used to the constant change of management in the past couple of decades, albeit some may have felt things would be different under this ownership.
It would be nice if we can find some kind of long-term project with one coach. We feel Pochettino’s start is going to be so imperative!
