Journalist Fraser Fletcher has claimed that Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino is already keen on making two additions to the club in January.
He took to Twitter to state that the boss is hoping for another striker to make the move in the winter transfer window, as well as a creative player to feature behind them.
Pochettino was backed heavily in the summer, with the Blues smashing their transfer record to bring in Moises Caicedo.

This came just months after they had last done just that with the signing of Enzo Fernandez off the back of his sensational World Cup.
There were also the big-money additions of Christopher Nkunku and Romeo Lavia. However, the duo are yet to play for the club as a result of injuries.
The treatment table is as busy as it ever has been at Stamford Bridge despite us being just five games into the season.
Pochettino wants two signings
The likes of Reece James, Caicedo, Noni Madueke and Wesley Fofana have all picked up issues this season, seeing them miss fixtures already.
One position the club perhaps didn’t strengthen as much as they would have liked would be up front. This is despite the addition of Nicolas Jackson.
While he has looked bright in patches since his move to Stamford Bridge, there is clearly work to be done before he guarantees himself a starting place.

Fletcher has claimed that a striker is one of two players on the agenda when the window opens again in January.
He said: “Pochettino wants another striker at Chelsea and another creative player. The correct options were not available in summer. They will add in January.”
The current leading target for the addition is Ivan Toney, although they will face plenty of competition for his signature.
