England and Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has taken to social media after meeting up again with Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell.
He went to Instagram to show his admiration for the Blues man, as well as his former teammate at Leicester, James Maddison.
Perhaps expectedly, Bellingham has enjoyed a sensational start to life at his new club at the Bernabeu.
This summer just gone saw a great saga regarding where he was going to be playing his football for the coming seasons.
Nearly every elite side in football put their name in the hat to bring him in, and this included Chelsea.
The Blues did not end up with the England starlet, however have this year added Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo to their ranks in midfield.
Bellingham praises Chilwell
When linking up with the Three Lions again, it seems he has become well acquainted with Chilwell, who has been an ever-present for Chelsea this season.
In the absence of Reece James, the left-back has frequently taken the captain’s armband in the Premier League this season.
He has been operating in a far more attacking formation than usual under Mauricio Pochettino. He is essentially a member of the front three at this stage.
It doesn’t feel as if this is bringing the best out of his game, with him far more effective when he is joining the attack at a later stage from an overlapping run.
Reports emerged this week that the other player in the picture, Maddison, was never of consideration to Chelsea this summer.
This is in spite of the fact that he was always going to be on the move after being relegated last season with Leicester.
