Today has seen reports that Chelsea and Bayern Munich have come to an agreement over Anthony Barry.
The backroom staff member was publicly courted by Thomas Tuchel when he was recently named the manager of the Bundesliga holders.
After a dispute between the two sides, it seems as if a conclusion has finally been reached to allow Barry to make the move to Germany.

While that has been going on, talk over who will become the next permanent Chelsea manager have continued to rage on.
Recent reports have suggested that interest in Luis Enrique has cooled, despite the Spaniard originally flying to England for talks with the club.
A number of other names have remained in the race. The likes of Mauricio Pochettino will reportedly be spoken to again regarding the job.
Nagelsmann surely favourite for Chelsea job
Instead, the perceived favoured candidate has remained Julian Nagelsmann, although he has been keen to wait until the end of the season before returning to management.
It will also require some negotiation between the two clubs, given that he is still under some sort of contract with Bayern Munich.

The fact that the two clubs have been able to reach an agreement regarding Barry does push the Bundesliga winner even higher up the list of potential candidates.
If the Blues had outright refused to let the coach go, as they were entitled to do, it would surely have made the German club think twice before allowing Nagelsmann to take over at Stamford Bridge.
There may be some supporters that are slightly concerned about his age coming into the role, especially after the failure that was Graham Potter’s time in the job and the lack of authority he showed.
