Chelsea defender Levi Colwill has been speaking about life under Enzo Maresca so far following the Italian’s arrival at the club.
Enzo Maresca replaced Mauricio Pochettino as Chelsea manager in June, and it looks like there are differences between the two.
Maresca is proving to be a popular figure at Chelsea already and could really endear himself to supporters when the Blues take on Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.
Win that, and any doubters the 44-year-old currently has will start to change their minds about him.

Levi Colwill on life under Enzo Maresca at Chelsea
Things are a bit different for Colwill under Maresca compared to Pochettino. The central defender claims he is having to concentrate more.
At the same time, though, Colwill says he has enjoyed the time he has spent working with his new boss so far.
Speaking to Chelsea’s official website, the 21-year-old said: “The gaffer plays similar to a chess game. Every piece needs to be in the right place to set up a move, set up a goal. It’s a lot more demanding mentally.
“I always need to be aware of where I am on the pitch and how I can help the team move up the pitch. That is the main thing. The level of concentration is crazy compared to other managers, I would say. I enjoy it and it can tap into my strengths. He’s been really good with me personally and everyone in the team. I’m really understanding the way he wants to play very fast.”
The pair seem to be getting on well, with Maresca hailing Colwill as a “very good” player. You would now expect the English youngster to be one of Chelsea’s starting centre-backs for their game against City this weekend.
Levi Colwill will have to concentrate against Man City
On the subject of concentration, Colwill is certainly going to have to focus throughout the whole 90 minutes of the City match if he does start on Sunday.
The England international will be going up against the Premier League’s best striker in Erling Haaland, who has already scored four goals against Chelsea this month, albeit in a friendly. There can be no mistakes if the Blues want to get something from this game.
Colwill and Chelsea’s other defenders were not too convincing during pre-season, though, so fans will have concerns going into their game versus City at Stamford Bridge.
If Chelsea can get a point, most fans would probably be content with that. It is what the team earned in the same fixture last term after playing out a thrilling 4-4 draw.
