Chelsea legend John Terry has taken to social media to share what he loved to see from Stamford Bridge.

He took to Twitter to state how much he enjoyed seeing a young fan celebrate the first goal he had ever seen at the West London stadium.

The Blues narrowly edged out their rivals Fulham with a 1-0 win, confirming that they had done the double over them again.

A Cole Palmer penalty on the stroke of half-time was what separated the sides, with him cracking home his ninth goal of the season in the Premier League.

Supporters will have been keen to see a return to winning ways after the damning defeat in the EFL semi-final first leg against Middlesbrough.

A social media post from Twitter user Connor McKenna showed him celebrating Palmer’s goal in the crowd alongside his young son, who clearly enjoyed what he saw.

Terry was quick to respond to the tweet, sharing just how much he loved to see a youngster following in his steps as a huge fan of the Blues.

He said: “Love this. This is what it’s all about”

Terry has remained a committed and dedicated supporter of the club ever since leaving back in 2017. He was quick to call out a poor performance recently against Middlesbrough.

His love for the side has seen some in the media question why he is not part of Mauricio Pochettino’s staff right now at Stamford Bridge.

It is the job of the players on the pitch to keep the vibe as good as it was in that video for the young fan, with them having a big chance to do so by booking a place in the final at Wembley.

They will need to provide a big performance at Stamford Bridge in order to turn around the first leg deficit, and Palmer in particular will be looking to provide a much better performance than he did in his last outing against them.
