Reports have claimed that a number of first team Chelsea players made an effort to congratulate Nicolas Jackson for his performance last night against Tottenham.
According to Football London, Benoit Badiashile and Marc Cucurella were just two of the players to make a point of singling out the 22-year-old for praise.
It is fair to say Jackson endured a difficult evening for the majority of last night, until things took a drastic turn in the final minutes.

The Senegal star had missed a number of key chances as the Blues struggled to break down the nine-man Spurs side that were still looking to play a high line despite the numbers disadvantage.
Fast forward to full-time though, and Jackson had the match ball in his hands after a hat-trick against the side who were unbeaten in the Premier League up until then.
The game up until the final 20 minutes or so had been an accurate representation of this campaign so far, with goals being difficult to come by.
Cucurella celebrating with Jackson
Many thought he may even be dropped again for this game, similar to how he was when the Blues faced Arsenal without a recognised striker on the pitch.
Mykhailo Mudryk was held to the bench though, and certainly didn’t set the world alight when he was on.
The team unity was on display in full at the end, with the players finally getting to enjoy celebrations in front of their travelling fans following a big win.
Cucurella in particular was one of those keen to point out to Jackson just how important his contribution was, hopefully installing some confidence in the young striker for future games.
The Blues’ tough run doesn’t get any easier this weekend when they welcome Manchester City to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.
