Gary Neville spotted that Mauricio Pochettino was absolutely furious with one Chelsea player during the second half of last night’s win.
He told Sky Sports that he was angry with Mykhailo Mudryk after he tried to force a cross on his weak foot, with the Blues chasing a goal in the final minutes.
Chelsea eventually ran out 4-1 winners, however that will not tell the full story on what was a mad return to North London for Pochettino.
Cristian Romero was sent off in the first half to let the Blues back into the game, while Destiny Udogie saw red early in the second too.
Despite facing nine men for the majority of the second half, a resolute and frankly brave Spurs side continued to shut them out.
That was until Nicolas Jackson found the net for the first time on the night, eventually scoring three.
Pochettino furious with Mudryk
Despite the win being sealed, Pochettino was notably not happy, particularly with his defence.
Neville has now claimed he was also angry with Mudryk a while earlier.
He said: “They’re showing real inexperience and lack of maturity. We know they’ve got some young players out there, Including him [Mudryk].
“He’s furious [Pochettino], absolutely furious and he should be. They really just need to be patient and work that ball up the pitch.
“It’s like Under-9s football when you see a gap in behind and lump it over the top hoping someone’s going to get on the end of it.”
Chelsea will look to see what they can take from a victory over the last remaining unbeaten side in the league last night as they prepare to face Manchester City at the weekend.
