Marcos Alonso expressed his delight after Chelsea beat Tottenham last night in a thrilling London derby.
Chelsea came from behind to record a 4-1 away win at Spurs in the Premier League.
Despite conceding the first goal, Mauricio Pochettino’s side earned three vital league points against an opposition that completely lost their discipline.
Cole Palmer equalised for the Blues in the 35th minute after Cristian Romero was shown a straight red card. Spurs went down to nine men early in the second-half when Destiny Udogie picked up a second booking, too.
Chelsea did find it tough taking their chances and making their dominance count, but Nicolas Jackson eventually scored a quick-fire hat-trick in the final 15 minutes.

Marcos Alonso celebrates
Barcelona left-back Marcos Alonso, 32, spent several successful years as a Chelsea player.
The Spanish defender has three goals and three assists against Spurs throughout his career, so we’re not surprised to hear him very happy with Monday’s result.
He uploaded an excellent three-word message on social media after the Blues victory.
Alonso posted on X: “London is blue.”
Chelsea have got to move forward
We saw yet again that this Chelsea side do much better against top teams that play expansive football and leave space.
If you look at the first half hour in isolation before the chaos ensued, Pochettino’s side reacted to a fast start from Spurs with some excellent football of their own.
There’s definitely the quality within the squad at Stamford Bridge to keep climbing the league ladder.
It’s going to be very difficult in this weekend’s upcoming fixture at home to Manchester City, but we hope there’s a buzz in the squad from Monday night.
In particular, Jackson should take huge confidence from scoring three goals despite perhaps leaving a couple more out there. Speaking via Sky Sports last night, Cole Palmer said Chelsea teammate Jackson was “brilliant” versus Spurs.
