Mauricio Pochettino has already developed a really close bond with Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling.
That is according to a report from The Athletic.
Mauricio Pochettino, 51, arrived at Stamford Bridge this summer as a highly-rated manager with a great track record of working with and developing players. The early signs are the Blues head coach is doing some great things with this squad already, too.
Raheem Sterling is definitely emerging as a major plus point for Chelsea after the opening few games of the season. For example, the 28-year-old scored twice during the 3-0 Premier League victory at home to Luton Town last Friday.

The Athletic has claimed today that Sterling’s relationship with Pochettino is already a close one.
It is understood that the Blues attacker is enjoying talking with him about the tactical side of the game, something he regularly did with Pep Guardiola when he was coached by him at Manchester City.
Hopefully, Pochettino is the right man in the dugout to get Sterling back to his very best.
The quick winger failed to reach anywhere near his peak form during his debut Chelsea season last year, but some stability under a top coach like Pochettino could be the perfect ingredients for him.

Sterling has the numbers to suggest he’s been one of the Premier League’s very best wingers of the best decade.
If the £50million (Daily Mail) rediscovers confidence and form, Chelsea’s attack will suddenly look so much better.
Described as “excellent” by Micah Richards, speaking via The Rest Is Football YouTube channel, Sterling looks extremely motivated and razor sharp in the early weeks of the 2023/24 season.
Perhaps the England international can go a long way to filling in the void of goals in this Chelsea side.
