Mauricio Pochettino has a real issue in front of goal to solve as Chelsea look to get back to winning ways on Sunday in the Premier League.

They face an Aston Villa side who will be travelling to Stamford Bridge off the back of their return to European football in the Conference League.

With there being just three days before that game, Unai Emery may look to rotate his side either tonight or on Sunday to maintain player fitness.

Here’s The Chelsea Chronicle’s predicted line-up to take on Villa this weekend.

The one highlight of the 0-0 draw with Bournemouth last week was the performance of Robert Sanchez, and he continues between the sticks.

With Reece James still out, Malo Gusto will be handed yet another chance to show exactly why he was signed back in January.

One of the underrated Blues this season has been Axel Disasi, and he will continue after hardly putting a foot wrong this season.

Alongside him, Levi Colwill will finally be handed his first start as an actual centre-back, with Thiago Silva dropping out.

Ben Chilwell will return to captain the side after he was dropped by the manager last weekend.

Lesley Ugochukwu looked calm and assured in his first start for the club last Sunday, and he will be rewarded with another start at Stamford Bridge.

Alongside him, the dependable Enzo Fernandez will feature, although injuries mean he will not be able to partner club-record signing Moises Caicedo.

Ahead of those two, deadline day signing Cole Palmer will be handed his first start for the club after two appearances off the bench.

Raheem Sterling looked bright in stages against Bournemouth, and will be heavily relied upon in attack again against Villa.

On the opposite side, Mykhailo Mudryk showed enough last week to prove that he can be a serious asset going forward under Pochettino.

Despite a poor performance against Bournemouth, it is important that the club keep the faith and start Nicolas Jackson again.
