Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has been doing a lot of work with Mykhailo Mudryk to help him settle in better at Stamford Bridge.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, writing for Si Phillips Talks Chelsea, Mauricio Pochettino has been spending one-on-one time with Mykhailo Mudryk and that is helping him adapt to life in the Premier League.
The 22-year-old really struggled last term after making the move from Shakhtar Donetsk to Chelsea, failing to score a single goal for the Blues.
But he has really improved this term, winning a penalty for Pochettino’s side last time out. Mudryk has also netted twice in the current Premier League campaign.
Chelsea fans are also playing their part, with Mudryk recently stating that he gets a boost when he feels supporters getting excited about him being on the ball.

Mauricio Pochettino the perfect coach for Mykhailo Mudryk
Mudryk really needed a manager like Pochettino, someone whose man management is top-notch.
In his career, the Argentine has managed young players really well and helped them to become elite footballers. Bayern Munich talisman Harry Kane and Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min are two good examples.
Hopefully Pochettino can do the same with Mudryk. There is a very, very long way to go before the Ukrainian can even be mentioned in the same breath as those two, but there have been signs of late that suggest he is on the right path under his new boss.
Mudryk now has to try and tie down a spot in Pochettino’s starting XI. He was included in it for the 3-2 win against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday and will be desperate to retain his place for the clash versus Manchester United tomorrow.
If Mudryk can deliver in that fixture, then Pochettino’s extra work with him really is going to look like it is paying off.
