Mauricio Pochettino has now hinted that there is a youngster at the club he has belief can perform for the first team this season.
He has claimed in his pre-match press conference that he thinks he has enough in his striker options at the club, and this includes 18-year-old Deivid Washington.
Washington is yet to start a game for the club since his move, with him playing most of his football with the youth sides.

However, he has been brought off the bench a handful of times, with that being his normal viewing point for the majority of the season.
The fact that he has been in the squad for most of the campaign has suggested that he is still an impressive young player.
Pochettino has now hinted that he could be about to deploy the Brazilian in the coming weeks and months, whilst claiming he has enough firepower up front.
Pochettino on Washington
He said: “It’s important to recover Christoph. And today arrived Nico Jackson. Also, sometimes we forget but Deivid Washington is here with us. The options we have up front, I think, are enough.”
Last week against Liverpool the manager elected not to start a natural striker, with Armando Broja remaining an unused substitute.
However, this is perhaps because he was set to be on his way out of the club for the rest of the season. His move to Fulham on loan was confirmed late on deadline day.
As for the immediate future, Pochettino may be tempted to start Christopher Nkunku in that role for the foreseeable future after his 45 minute return from injury at Anfield.
He only needed half a chance before he found the net for the Blues, and that kind of instinct has been severely lacking this season for anyone at the club so far.
