Mauricio Pochettino has publicly backed Robert Sanchez ahead of Chelsea’s game against Brentford this afternoon.
The Blues host London rivals Brentford on Saturday in the Premier League, with the team now confirmed via the club’s X account.
There’s a few changes to the starting line-up from the side that recorded a 2-2 draw against Arsenal last weekend.
Axel Disasi, Noni Madueke and Nicolas Jackson have all come into the starting line-up. They’ve replaced Malo Gusto, Enzo Fernandez and Mykhailo Mudryk. Blues fans will be worried to see both Fernandez and Mudryk are completely absent from the matchday squad.

Chelsea stick with keeper
Despite a few changes versus Brentford, Robert Sanchez continues his run of starting every league game this season.
The £25million goalkeeper (BBC) is starting to allow a few errors to creep into his game, mainly when the ball is at his feet.
However, Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino has shared big support for the 25-year-old gloveman.
When speaking about Sanchez, Pochettino said via The Evening Standard: “He is very relaxed, he is very calm. He is very good. We are there to try and help. We are helping him. He is calm. He knows, we know, football is about mistakes.
“The responsibility is with the whole team. The coaching staff is the first as we transmit the idea of how we want to play. To blame someone is to blame us, myself, but not him. He is delivering what we want and of course, maybe you can miss a penalty, you can miss a pass.
“He is showing great character and personality. He is going to be good tomorrow. I have no doubt about that.”
Robert Sanchez should feel the love
Pochettino’s latest comments should be a big boost for Chelsea’s first-choice keeper.
The Spaniard does need to tighten up a bit when he’s in possession and passing out from the back, which is something teams will start to identify as a weakness.
However, on the whole, he’s made a decent start in his first few months at Stamford Bridge.
The Athletic recently claimed that Chelsea do believe Sanchez can grow into one of the world’s very best goalkeepers.
