Negative conversations are being had about Enzo Maresca amongst fans at Chelsea right now, and the players seem to not be totally convinced on the boss either.
Maresca oversaw back-to-back Premier League defeats following a 3-1 loss to Brighton at Stamford Bridge, where for the second time in a week the Blues hit the self-destruct button following a sending off.
Trevoh Chalobah departed early this time, leaving an inexperienced Josh Acheampong and Jorrel Hato to deal with a hungry Brighton attack, something they were unable to do.
Chelsea fans were unhappy with Maresca inside of Stamford Bridge as they fell to defeat again, and although not as controversial as against Manchester United, the manager’s substitutions raised questions.

Chelsea players are not fans of Enzo Maresca
Again, Joao Pedro was the only recognised attacker on the pitch, and despite plenty of defensive players on the pitch they still conceded three goals in the latter stages of the game.
It seems not even the players are completely on board with what they are being asked by the manager. Simon Phillips stated after the game that the players have not got on with the boss, stretching back to last season.
He said: “Next post… As I reported last season, a big handful of Chelsea’s players have not ‘vibed’ with Maresca. The stuff on Palmer from last season was true. And it was more than him. A good handful of them didn’t like how he was getting them to play. Is what it is.”

Chelsea fans calling for Maresca replacement
Despite delivering two trophies just months ago to Chelsea, some supporters of the club have seen enough when it comes to the man in charge.
Some Chelsea fans have called for Cesc Fabregas to become the new manager, despite the fact he is only a single year into what promises to be a successful career on the coaching side of things.
Realistically, Maresca has been dealt a bad hand of things this season, with injury problems affecting the Blues more than most and consecutive Premier League games ruined by red cards.
There will be pressure on him to deliver a result on Tuesday in the Champions League though, with a familiar face to Chelsea fans in the form of Jose Mourinho in the opposite dugout.
