Chelsea star Cole Palmer is now beginning to pile up quite an impressive list of individual awards.
In Chelsea history, there’s been so many superstar footballers grace the pitch at Stamford Bridge, but it’s hard to remember too many starting their Blues careers as impressively as Cole Palmer.
The 22-year-old attacker enjoyed a stunning debut campaign in west London last year. As a result, he was voted Players’ Player of the Season and Player of the Season at Chelsea’s annual club awards back in May.
He’s started the 2024/25 term in equally impressive form, scoring six goals and making five assists from seven Premier League appearances. Palmer is in WhoScored’s Premier League Team of the Season so far.
Palmer added to his individual achievements this week by being named England Men’s Player of the Year.

Morgan Rogers reacts to Cole Palmer award
Palmer celebrated winning the England award with an Instagram post, which has received praise from Aston Villa and England Under-21s star Morgan Rogers in the comment section.

It’s been widely discussed that Palmer stole the ‘cold’ goal celebration off close friend Rogers, which is now firmly associated with the Chelsea man.
Can Cole Palmer eclipse his first Chelsea season?
Palmer stunned everybody with the level of success last year during his debut season with the Blues. He was highly rated when he arrived from Manchester City last summer, but he immediately developed into a senior figure at his new club.
Here is a look at Palmer’s record so far as a Chelsea player:
| Season | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| 2024/25 | 9 | 6 | 5 |
| 2023/24 | 45 | 25 | 15 |
Based off the Englishman’s form in the last couple of months, he’s ready to enjoy yet another magnificent campaign in front of goal. It certainly helps that Enzo Maresca’s side are playing an attacking brand of football.
