President of Fluminese Mario Bittencourt has now claimed that it would be his dream to complete the signing of one Chelsea player.
He told GEGlobo that it would be great for his side to complete a deal that would see Thiago Silva join the Brazilian club at the end of the season.
It has been claimed that Silva is at this point more likely to leave the club at the end of the season.

This is when his current contract is set to expire, with there at this stage being no offers to add to his time at Stamford Bridge.
This is no reflection on his form this season though, with him still being one of the most important players for the club this season.
Mauricio Pochettino has not been afraid to admit this, with him describing the veteran as ‘amazing’ earlier this season.
Bittencourt desperate for Silva
However, he will be turning 40 earlier next season, and the hope for the club that they will be playing in Europe again will see fixtures come thick and fast.
This could turn out to be too much of a demand for Silva, who at this stage of his career has earned himself an easier time of things.
This could come back in his home country, with Bittencourt offering him a route back to first team football.
He said: “Thiago Silva said he will only decide his future after his contract with Chelsea runs out. It’s my dream to bring him in.”
The young core of defenders at Chelsea right now would do well to get the most out of the experience Silva has if this does prove to be his final few months in West London.
Levi Colwill, Benoit Badiashile and the currently injured Wesley Fofana will all be looking to take any wisdom they can to boost their careers in the long run.
