Journalist Ben Jacobs has claimed from what he has been told that he believes Graham Potter will still be in charge of Chelsea’s next game.
The Blues are not training today, but will be back at work tomorrow ahead of next weekend’s London derby against Tottenham.
The mood around the club is currently about as low as it has been since the club sacked Thomas Tuchel earlier this season.

This weekend saw Chelsea defeated 1-0 at Stamford Bridge by Southampton, the side who sit bottom of the Premier League.
Frustration was extremely visible amongst the match-going faithful, with it being heard from those sitting near the dugout that there was a desire for the manager to be sacked.
Figures in the media have now been debating whether it is the right decision to make, with the likes of Jose Mourinho already making his desire to return to Stamford Bridge very clear.
Potter set to be in charge for Spurs game
The Blues are approaching the biggest game of the season in a few weeks’ time. They have a one goal deficit to turnaround when they welcome Borussia Dortmund to West London following their first leg defeat last week.
The competition is their only chance at either silverware or securing Champions League football for next season, and many will be hopeful that Potter isn’t the man trusted to get it done.

However, with just weeks to go Jacobs has claimed the plan has currently not changed, with Potter expected to be in charge for next weekend’s London derby.
He said: “This remains my understanding. Fully expect Potter to be in charge for the Spurs game.”
The lack of obvious candidates for the job could be a reason for why the Englishman is still being trusted with the role for the time being.
