Mykhailo Mudryk is absolutely delighted by what one Chelsea fan has posted about him online.

There’s no doubt that Mykhailo Mudryk, 22, is one of the players in this squad that Chelsea supporters are desperate to watch succeed.

The Ukrainian left-winger started slowly after joining the Blues in the New Year, but we’re seeing signs of his quality and potential since Mauricio Pochettino become his head coach over the summer.

He’s now scored two goals in his previous three Premier League games.

Brilliant fan interaction

One Chelsea fan on X, formerly Twitter, photoshopped an image of Mudryk holding the Ballon d’Or prize.

“Hahaha, thank you, guys,” Mudryk responded from his account.

Lionel Messi collected his eighth Ballon d’Or prize in Paris last night by winning the 2023 individual award.

Let’s hope one day Mudryk can be in the conversation for the world’s elite player!

TEAMtalk previously claimed that Chelsea scouts believed they had signed a future Ballon d’Or winner when Mudryk arrived in West London earlier this year.

Stick with Mykhailo Mudryk

Journalist Fabrizio Romano reported via his YouTube channel last week that Pochettino insisted Chelsea didn’t sell Mudryk in the summer window amid some interest from clubs.

Now, the 22-year-old winger is emerging as an important first-team player under the Argentine boss.

We feel like his absence in Saturday’s 2-0 defeat against Brentford in the Premier League was massively felt.

There’s plenty of competition from within the Blues squad when it comes to the wide positions, but Mudryk’s got that explosive speed and directness that does help him stand out. We’ve seen him look electric in a few displays this season coming off that left wing.

He’s competing alongside the likes of Raheem Sterling, Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke for a starting position.

When fit, Mudryk would get into our preferred Chelsea XI based off this campaign so far.
