Mykhailo Mudryk has taken to social media to send a message to Chelsea supporters after they returned to winning ways on Wednesday night.
He posted an Instagram story thanking the fans in attendance at Stamford Bridge, with those at the ground showing their appreciation for the player in return.
What had been a difficult start for Mudryk is beginning to show signs of improving this season.
He has started the last three games in a row in all competitions, and despite being replaced in all of them this is not due to his performance.
Especially in his last two outings, he had been the best player in Blue before being substituted. Against Aston Villa, his departure was only due to the club going down to 10 men.
On Wednesday against Brighton, the winger was giving a standing ovation when Raheem Sterling came on to replace him, after what had been another strong performance.
Mudryk sends message to Chelsea fans
He has been very unlucky in recent weeks to not have some assists to his name, and this has been a positive sign for supporters.
The Ukraine international took to Instagram to send his appreciation for those fans, as well as explain how happy he was to have finally returned them to winning ways.
He said: “So happy for our fans, that win was for y’all, y’all deserved this.”
It now looks a formality that Mudryk is going to continue as part of the starting team for the upcoming games, with them usually coming at a rate of just once a week.
The next outing will be Monday night, when they take on Fulham in the West London derby.
