Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk was quick to take to social media to praise Reece James for his performance against Blackburn Rovers last night.
He took to the club’s official Instagram page to praise the 23-year-old after he returned to the starting side in the 2-0 victory at Stamford Bridge.
James seemingly got through an hour unscathed last night as the Blues booked their place in the quarter-finals of the competition.
They face the tough task of Newcastle United in the next round, although will certainly have noticed the large amount of big teams that have been dumped out this season.
Manchester City, Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United are all not present at this stage, and this has opened up a great opportunity for Mauricio Pochettino to push for a trophy in his first season.
Cole Palmer was the highlight performer for the Blues last night, with pundits analysing his game describing him as the best player on the pitch by some distance.

However, it was the return of players from injury which will have been the biggest boost for the manager after the Round of 16 tie.
Benoit Badiashile was making his first appearance since the Argentine joined the club, and he capped it off with a goal that delighted those inside Stamford Bridge.
James also got through an hour seemingly unscathed, which will have been a relief to those watching based off his recent setbacks.
Mudryk then took to Instagram to praise the performance of the club captain amid his return.
Supporters will also be hoping to see the Ukraine international back in action soon, with Pochettino admitting he is not sure if he will be fit to face Tottenham on Monday night.
