Napoli are big fans of ‘very good’ Chelsea player as well as Romelu Lukaku

Romelu Lukaku does not appear to be the only Chelsea player who Napoli admire.

Napoli and Antonio Conte are fans of Romelu Lukaku as they try to bring him into their club this summer.

In fact, it has been suggested that Napoli could be prepared to offer Victor Osimhen to Chelsea in their bid to land the Belgian.

Of course, Chelsea would also have to hand Napoli a lot of cash on top of Lukaku given the Italian club’s valuation of Osimhen.

But it is clear to see that they do rate Lukaku, while it seems like they appreciate another Chelsea player as well.

Napoli like Cesare Casadei

Lukaku has no future at Stamford Bridge, spending the last two seasons away from there. At some point this summer, he is likely to get his move to Napoli.

And it looks like another Chelsea man, Cesare Casadei, could also end up at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.

According to CaughtOffside, Napoli are big fans of Casadei. The outlet claims that they see the 21-year-old as possible replacement for Piotr Zielinski.

A move to Napoli could be what is best for Casadei. He has been on the periphery at Chelsea since joining, and that is unlikely to change when you are having to compete against the likes of Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez for a spot in the team.

Fiorentina are another club who seem keen on Casadei, so a return to Italy this summer looks more than possible.

Good move for Cesare Casadei

Napoli have just had a season to forget. They finished 10th in Serie A last term, failing to qualify for Europe.

However, Napoli are still one of the top clubs in Italy, winning the Serie A title back in the 2022/23 campaign, and have a top coach in former Chelsea manager Conte.

Therefore, a move to Naples could be perfect for Casadei, who is unlikely to play under Enzo Maresca in the new season.

Casadei has talent. Mauricio Pochettino once described Casadei’s profile as “very good”. But there is little room for him at Chelsea.
