Pundit Jamie O’Hara has claimed that Mauricio Pochettino will be a failure as a manager at Chelsea if he gets the job.
He told TalkSPORT that the 51-year-old’s links to Tottenham will make it impossible for him to get supporters onside.
Pochettino has emerged as the clear favourite for the vacant role that has not been permanently filled since Graham Potter was sacked a few weeks ago.

Frank Lampard is currently in charge on an interim basis, which was believed to be originally before hiring Julian Nagelsmann, who was waiting until the summer to return to management.
However, he withdrew his interest after the recruitment process began to draw out and involve other candidates.
One of those was the Argentine, despite his long and successful tenure with arch-rivals Spurs.
O’Hara has claimed that this is one of the reasons why it will not work out for Pochettino at Stamford Bridge.

He said: “That’s not going to work. He’s made for Tottenham. He has unfinished business, and the only reason he’s not going back there is because Daniel Levy’s an idiot and he doesn’t want to go back on old ground because they fell out when he left.
“That’s the only reason. He is Spurs. It’s not going to work, the fans are not going to go for it. As soon as you have a bad few results, fans are going to turn on him instantly. I’m telling you. It’s the same as Rafa Benitez going to Everton.”
The TalkSPORT pundit’s links and admiration of the North London side make it a plausible conclusion that he is frustrated one of his side’s greatest managers of the modern era is set to take over across the capital.
