The official Chelsea app has seemed to confirm that Mauricio Pochettino is planning to integrate one Chelsea youngster into his plans for next season.
In their preview for the season ahead, they stated that Andrey Santos is set to be part of the new manager’s plans for the upcoming campaign.
Pochettino has overseen an extremely strong pre-season for the Blues over in the United States. They went unbeaten for the first time since 2011.

In this run, they beat and drew to sides such as Newcastle, Borussia Dortmund, Brighton and Fulham, with the Premier League contingence all causing them issues last season.
One of the most satisfying elements of the tour will certainly be the appearances of some of the youngsters brought in for decent fees over the last 12 months.
Santos set for role this season
Cesare Casadei was definitely one who made an impression, and he has since earned himself a move to a very promising Championship side in Leicester City.
However, the star is surely Santos after his strong performances mostly from the start of games.
He featured a lot alongside Enzo Fernandez, and certainly impressed the manager on the sideline.

Now, the club website has hinted that he is going to be a part of the Argentine’s plans this summer.
They said: “Andrey Santos is another youngster who has impressed enough in pre-season to be handed a squad number (20) and is set to be integrated into Pochettino’s plans going forward.”
It is likely the Blues are going to add another midfielder to their ranks before the transfer window comes to a close, although it does not look as if that is going to be long-term target Moises Caicedo.
