Reports have claimed that the Colombian national team simply couldn’t stop Chelsea’s Moises Caicedo last night on international duty.
According to El Universo, the opponents were forced to keep fouling the 21-year-old as he began to run the show in midfield.
Ecuador drew 0-0 with Colombia last night, as their Chelsea core started together in the heart of midfield again.

Caicedo was once again joined by Kendry Paez in the middle of the park, who was starting his third game in an already legendary international career.
Despite impressing again, he was left frustrated with them not taking three points, notably showing his anger after his side missed a good chance.
The former Brighton man though, described previously as ‘outstanding’ by Frank Leboeuf, continued to raise his standards this season following a tough beginning.
Caicedo fouled a lot last night
He has been a very impressive player in recent weeks alongside Enzo Fernandez in midfield, and the Argentine picked up plenty of praise for his performance last night for his country too.
Typically misprofiled as just a defensive midfielder, the club-record signing again showed his ability going forwards as he frequently took on players and looked to inspire his team to victory.

Colombia seemed to notice this, with it being reported that they continued to hack him down whenever he got some momentum going.
Chelsea supporters will be hoping that he has got through his two international outings unscathed, and can return to action when the Blues are back in Premier League action on Saturday.
The test of Arsenal will require Mauricio Pochettino’s best players to be fit and firing, and this certainly includes their South American contingent of Caicedo and Fernandez.
