Chelsea winger Pedro Neto has delivered a glowing verdict on one player at Stamford Bridge who’s on an upward trajectory.
The current Chelsea squad is stacked with so many young and exciting talents. In particular, there’s some serious firepower at the top end of the pitch this season.
Hopefully, Enzo Maresca is the right Blues manager to knit everything together and get the club back to winning silverware.
Pedro Neto, 24, is part of the impressive selection of attackers available to Maresca. Incidentally, BBC pundit Matthew Upson applauded “excellent” Chelsea winger Neto in Sunday’s draw versus Arsenal.

Pedro Neto hails Chelsea teammate Joao Felix
According to Neto, Chelsea attacker Joao Felix is a super talented player who’s improving this season.
“I’m with him (Felix) every day, and he’s getting better and better. I was really happy to be at the same club as him; he’s an incredible player,” Neto said, as quoted by beIN SPORTS.
Felix, who plays in the No.10 position, is struggling for minutes in the Premier League this season due to competition from Cole Palmer. However, the 25-year-old Portuguese star is still making his impact across various cup competitions.
Chelsea star Felix was furious that he was an unused substitute against Arsenal on Sunday. In fairness, he had a great case to feature after scoring twice in midweek during the 8-0 demolition of Noah in the Conference League.
Joao Felix in sticky situation
So far, Felix hasn’t had much of a look-in during the Premier League campaign. In fact, he’s started zero top-flight matches, plus he’s been an unused substitute in the previous four consecutive league games.
He rejoined the Blues in the summer from Atletico Madrid on a permanent basis, but his campaign has been very stop-start to date:
| Competition | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| Premier League | 5 | 1 | 0 |
| Conference League | 3 | 4 | 0 |
| Carabao Cup | 21 | 0 | 1 |
Chelsea boss Maresca has admitted he wants to play Felix more in the league, but he’s struggling to find a way to fit him into the team. If he wants a solution, it would be interesting to see him potentially get some minutes on the left flank.
