Chelsea are blessed with a plethora of skilful attackers in their ranks that Enzo Maresca has at his disposal for whatever opponents they are set to face.

The main reason the manager was delighted to add Jadon Sancho to his ranks was to add a creative winger who can unlock a low block from the left wing.

Pedro Neto, Noni Madueke and Tyrique George are all players who will be hoping that the end of the season sees them become regulars in the side amid the fight for glory in the Conference League, as well as finish in the top five of the Premier League.

Thursday night’s win over Legia Warsaw saw George score his first goal for the club, while Madueke changed the game from the bench as the Blues took a big step towards the Conference League semi-finals.

All of those players certainly have a trick or two up their sleeves, however Neto believes someone else is the most skilful of all those at Stamford Bridge.

Pedro Neto names Cole Palmer the most skilful player at Chelsea

The Portuguese star ranked Cole Palmer at number one for Sky Sports, stating that he has been left frustrated on occassion when he has pulled it off against him in training.

He said: “It’s just the difference that he makes on the game. The tricks that he has in small spaces, everybody can see. This is why I put him in place.

“If I get nutmegged by him [in training], the ball will pass but he doesn’t pass me!”

Palmer’s skill created one of Chelsea’s best goals last season

Palmer’s ability to work with the ball in tight areas saw him create one of the best goals the Blues scored during Mauricio Pochettino’s time at the club.

The England international had four to choose from after a rout of Everton at Stamford Bridge, however the pick of the bunch actually opened the scoring for Chelsea on that day.

Palmer knocked the ball through the legs of England teammate Jarred Branthwaite before linking up with Nicolas Jackson via a backheel on the edge of the box.

After that he stroked the ball into the bottom corner, setting Chelsea on their way to a big win and him even further up the superstar spectrum.
