Reports have claimed that Chelsea captain Reece James is going to be fit enough to return from his injury before the next Premier League game.

According to Football London, the 23-year-old will be fit when the current ongoing international break comes to an end.

Many feared this season we were in for more of the same when it came to James, as reports surfaced that he had picked up another muscle injury to begin the season.

There was a real hope that these problems may have been behind him going into this season, especially after faith was put in him to be the club captain for this season.

Those responsibilities have since then been passed on to vice skipper Ben Chilwell, with the duo being very popular with new manager Mauricio Pochettino.

James back for next game

The new boss has even already described the right-back as a ‘perfect’ player, with him putting plenty of faith in him.

This may then see a massive boost come his way ahead of Sunday’s Premier League game against Bournemouth, with the skipper set to return to first team action.

He is one of a number of players who are close to coming back after injuries disrupted their start to the campaign.

Benoit Badiashile and Armando Broja are also set to be returning soon, with neither player making an appearance yet this season.

The Frenchman in particular will be fighting for a place in the starting side straight away, with the likes of Levi Colwill coming up against him for immediate minutes.
